Sometimes You Just Have To Take Matters Into Your Own Hands

Yesterday morning I discovered that Emma had moved the bar stool to the cabinets and climbed up on the counter.

She was busy getting into the cabinet, apparently while Officer Ryan stood guard. Why that particular cabinet?

That's where Mommy keeps the bottles. Sometimes you just have to take care of yourself.

2 Points Emma!! I think it is safe to say Baby B and Em should NEVER be together it would be DOUBLE TROUBLE!!!!

It's not totally obvious, and I probably should have put this in the post, but she took the nipple in the ring and was trying to attach it to the bottle! She was making her own bottle!

Well of course she did! I mean we're talking about Emma here!

I think you should start calling her "Little Girl Wonder"... like a super hero, but a baby!

Smart kids! Glad she didn't fall!

Is it sexist to say "just like a woman, taking care of herself?"

I have two boys. I'm fairly certain they would have never taken that initiative!

Smart cookie you've got there. Em

That is so funny, Denise! She looks so tiny up on that big countertop! Thank goodness my kids never got interested in climbing!

Kristin, I've been so lucky because non of my other kids were climbers. I guess Emma's filling in for the rest of them.

That is too funny and even funnier that she had a lookout! :)

That little STINKER...but look how adorable she is standing there in her diaper!!!!!!
OH, BUT SHE IS A LITTLE STINKER!!! Now, I would be thinking Ryan would rat her out!

Jill, I'm completely shocked that "Officer Ryan" didn't tattle on her immediately. He feels that it's his job to let her know immediately if she is breaking any rules, but he didn't this time.

TO funny! I have to say the first thing I thought of was how nice and clean your counters are!! Mine are cluttered but my kitchen is 35 years old! Perhaps its time...to well....THROW the bottles out LOL! That is what we did..it was HE## but we did it...:)
good luck!

That's got to be my favorite picture of all time! I'm thinking you've got to pull it out for her wedding one day. You have to admit, Emma's a determined little bugger. I just hope she never wants (oh, I don't know) DRUGS as much as she wants that bottle! God help you.

My toddler has to climb on the counter to get to the crackers, the cereal, the salt shaker, and the fruit snacks.

Oh my goodness, that is so funny!! Go Emma, Go Emma, Go Emma, just don't fall backwards, because you'd land on your look outs head....who wasn't to informative by the way to you or mommy, as he stood there watching mommy take photos. hehe..

Uh huh, that's what I'm talking about. You may just as well give it up right now and let her have her stinkin bottle cuz she's gonna get it, one way or another! Good heavens, can you imagine what it's going to be like when you try to hide the car keys from that one?

Smart girl! If I were her, though, I'd grab the Puffs while I was in there.

That is hilarious! My sister once found her 10 month old on top of a youth chair...which she had put on top of the kitchen table. Who knows how she got it up there!

I love industrious independent kiddos!
