Fashion Foward

Unbeknownest to me, Emma got a makeover by an unknown stylist.

It's obviously some new trendy style, kind of like those asymmetrical looks

Notice the chuck of hair missing below her ear? Yeah, that didn't used to be there. On Sunday morning I noticed some hair on Emma's shirt but I had cut Ross' hair the afternoon before and thought perhaps some of his hair had some how escaped my broom. I really should have known better. Things have been a bit crazy around here (hence my lack of posts) so I'm didn't realize that there had been an actual hair cut until last night.

Was it

Ryan Scissorhands?

Or was it Emma the Mute?

We'll probably never know, but for now the scissors are being kept up in a shelf. Like that will keep Emma out!

Oh, I feel your pain!! We lost count of how many times Jillian did this... turns out it was due to sensory issues, she couldn't stand the feel of hair!

She's impossibly cute, fashion forward or not.

My now 10 yr old did this when she was 4... she was with big sister when big sister was getting hers cut.. 4 yr old wanted a cut too,,,No your hair is cute the way it is... So off we go home... and all of a sudden I hear "what are you doing" and then a scream.. she wacked off a good 4 inches of hair... and 1 and half of bangs...needed to get it all cut short! arghhh... My bet Emma did it herself!

I was an aspiring beautician when I was little. I seemed to like giving myself a "trim" right before we had our family portraits taken.

Haha! Oh no. I did the same thing when I was younger and a friend of mine's 3 year old just cut her own bangs! I think it is a right of passage.

I've missed you Denise! My bet would be on Emma. We never had hair cutting, but my daughter decided to borrow my razor in the shower and shave her "side burns", she created quite the mess, and it took a long time to grow out. I think she was about 5.

Yep, we had a haircut. A really bad haircut. Right before the first day of preschool.

Yep.

My vote is for Emma. she is the quiet but always observing. At least it is on the side...not as noticeable right?

My guess is Emma as well. Both of my girls cut their own hair when they were little. And for them it was always right before picture day!

I don't have to worry about Amilynn. She only cuts the cats hair not her own. LOL

You have your hands full...those two little cuties seem like double trouble!

No mention of the older kids huh? I'm guessing Trace is the culprit...he looks shady to me! ;)

So...my thoughts on this one are...
NO CHILDHOOD is complete without losing a HUGE CHUNK of hair at the hands of (ONE) yourself (TWO) a sibling or (THREE) both!!!
