A Little Help From A Friend

Or in this case, a baby. As I was packing up the mugs and tea bags to send off this morning, I got a little unexpected help.

Kim and April, if your tea bags are a little mangled, I apologize. (Not really, I gave you new ones.)

And for those of you who might be alarmed that Emma is playing with a large pair of scissors-- for one thing they aren't sharp at all and for another, I was watching her the entire time. Oh and yes, she's turning out to be a leftie, my only one out of six. (Why do I think that's so cool?)

Have no fears, she is now safely coloring with crayons all over my coffee table. What???

Gotta go...

I seriously almost had a heart attack when I saw the scissors and her naked little tummy lol. My dad has taken me to the hospital with him too many times as I kept thinking, "OMG STITCHES."
I'm slightly neurotic though. My kids are going to hate me, I'm going to make them use those stupid safety scissors until they're 18.

Cute little helper though - she knows where the good stuff is! Just please promise me you won't show a video of her with steak knives anytime soon.

Also good for her for being a leftie! Smart girl. When she's older (as in a senior in highschool) she can get a scholarship for being a leftie...yeah, I'm serious.

How's that coffee table? I keep trying to convince myself that all the marks on my furniture make them "unique original showcase pieces!" Truly one-of-a-kind (whether I like it or not)!

Thanks for sending Brandy my way on Friendly Friday. That was really sweet of you to think of me!
