Everything In Moderation, Including Giveaways

My Chocolate Rice Krispy treats are quite the hit but for The Purists in the family I made plain Rice Krispy treats.

This is the pan.

After lunch today, this was the chocolate pan. That won't do! What about my poor little children's lunches? So I made a whole new pan. And of course, I had to try some out. To make sure they tasted all right for my poor little children.

By this time, it was the babies nap time and all most time for Ross to come home from school. Practically the minute he walks in, I have the DVR queued up so we can watch an episode of House together. We often drink tea together while we watch. Perfect beverage to go with a Chocolate Rice Krispy treat.

I could use this cup but I save it strictly for my homemade non-fat, no whip mochas.

Ah, there we go. A cup of Tazo Passion tea. But wait... what is on the side of that mug?

Well, how did that get there??? Yes, I had some mugs made with my blog logo.

So Ross is home and I have my tea. I also have my Chocolate Rice Krispy treat. I've decided that all I really need is a little moderation, to set some limits so I don't go crazy eating those crack bars.

So I decided I could only have one this afternoon while I watched House.

I said I could only have one, but I never told myself how big it could be.

Okay, now that I'm all sugared up and bloated, I've decided to share with my readers. Not my Chocolate Rice Krispy treats! Go make your own! No, I'm going to give away one of my new mugs along with several tea bags of my favorite teas. All you have to do is leave me a comment telling me that you need a door stop, spare coin holder, or any other use you can come up with for one of my mugs. I'll take comments until 10:00 Thursday night CST.

I'd love to say I'd use it as some sort of planter for my early spring flowers, but it is still winter here. No, what I would really like to do with a mug is fill it with my favorite coffee, a little stevia, some half and half and a small mound of spray can whipped cream. Possibly some chocolate sprinkles on top, depending on my mood :-)

I'd love a new mug to savor a vanilla steamer or some homeade hot cocoa in. Delicious!

As I read your blog and I see your cute mugs I thought to myself, "she should do a giveway...I'd love one of those mugs." And then I kept reading...

I could totally use one to wash out my kids dirty paintbrushes. Or to spit my chewing tobacco into. ;)

While I am recovering, my hubby is doing all the housework, including the dishes. Since surgery, we've lost two coffee mugs and a plate so far. So I definitely can use another coffee/tea mug, but for actually drinking coffee and tea!! And yes, I will definitely have a lot of housework catchup to do once I'm released to do it.... :)

I think maybe I need the mug to take some advil with after a long day at school.......no maybe to have an extremely large shot after a long day at work. Or maybe a tea bag (orchard peach to be exact) for that bubble bath I am going to take after I pick up the kids from practice, get "my" sixth grade math homework done, "my" third grade spelling pretest done and corrected, supper made, arrive on time for haircuts, get the baby bathed and to bed, make sure everyone else showers so I am not doing sheets tomorrow because of everyone's hair on their pillows, and after I lay out everyone's clothes for tomorrow really I am going to take that mug for a nice long b.........back upstairs and set it by my bed, crash, and look at it in the morning when I wake up and think "thank goodness I only have three kids." God bless you I don't know how you do it!!! You need a crown for far too often having three almost takes me to the nut house!

Love the mug! I would use it for me tea I have every night. I think I am down to maybe 4 mugs that are not chipped or broken! Being sick I am drinking my tea a few times a day too.
Yes, I do have bronchitis!! I get it every couple of years but it has never been this bad before. Or maybe I am older, overworked, and have more kids?! ha I do see a light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks for stopping by.
I love rice crispy treats, I could eat a whole pan!! :-)

Denise, I need the mug for pencils!! Oh really I'll drink tea out of it. You know I don't even own a Kettle, so will it be awful to boil in a pan?

I see I just missed the giveaway time...but that's ok. I didn't want a mug anyway. J/K I would LOVE a mug. Guess I'll have to wait for the next giveaway. There will be one, right!!:)

Thanks for visiting my blog. It's really fun to be "meeting" new people.
I've read some of the story of your husband. So sorry for your loss. It has to be difficult to move forward...but something that can be done with God by your side. Blessings to you.
