Cuteness with Tails

Emma's hair has gotten long enough that I can actually do something with it. So this morning we tried pigtails. (We've tried them before but her hair was still too short.)

I apologize for the poor lighting in these photos. I really need to check out the We Picture {This}-- Mamarazzi blog for some photography tips.

My little uncooperative angel is eating her breakfast. This was taken before I gave her her grapefruit, then her dress came off.

I call her uncooperative because she would not look at the camera straight on so I could get a picture of both of her piggies. You have no idea how many photos I took to get these!

Yeah, we don't use tooth brushes in our house. We just pick our teeth with knives.* Sure she's happy in these photos but check this one out:

Trace took this one while I was gone for 5 minutes dropping Jenna off at school. Emma hates it when I leave her now and is not afraid to show it.

I pinky promise to have a post tonight about Ryan's birthday party. I tried to write it for over an hour last night but my internet kept going out!

* No children were harmed in the photo session. A stunt double was used for this photo. I do not allow Emma to play with knives but she does always seems to find them. The knife was removed from her the stunt double's possession after the photo was taken.

Oh that Emma is just the cutest thing I've ever seen. There's just nothing cuter than a little girl with pigtails!! She's just so precious! I bet her and my little Lily would be best friends if they ever met! :)

She is so adorable and the piggies are to die for!

For better lighting, make sure the brightest light isn't directly behind your subject (patio doors in your case.) That is the ONLY photography tip I know so I'll share it :)

I read your "My story" post and honestly want to comment, but what do you say. You are an amazing woman serving an amazing God with the added bonus of a house-full of beautiful children. I'm sorry for the loss and pain you've gone through. It is an heartwrenching read.
