Who isn't happy scrubbing the toilet when they're wearing their pearls? You noticed my outfit? What, this old thing?
Today we're going to clean the boys' toilet, something that probably hasn't been done in about a month. It can't be that bad, can it?
Nothing like the satisfaction of a job well done! I feel just like June Cleaver.
See, simply by dressing smartly you too can make the most dreary of household chores more fulfilling exciting. And be sure to keep your children entertained with an educational activity so while they're learning and expanding their brilliant young minds, you can be equally productive without interruption.
What? Not buying it?
Okay, the real Toilet Tuesday.
Cleaning toilets, one roll of paper towels at a time. Any "pearls" that I find are immediately flushed down the toilet! I think June had a secret maid.

I love your face over the toilet...doesn't that just say it all. And now I know why you asked about the pearls. LOL!
I wouldn't wear pearls but I would wear a hazard suit if I had one.
Bathrooms are the worst - Yuck!
love the pearls! LMAO!!!
You are too funny! :)
Before I saw the pearls I saw the heels!! That just cracked me up!
And thanks for all the comment love on my blog - I feel like somebody actually reads it, now!
Noticed the pearls first and was thinking to myself..."what in the world"...then I continued with the post. Once again Denise you have brightened my work day!

i just have one question: what does a clean toilet look like? i can't keep ours clean!!
That's so funny!
Classic!!!
Momma, I really don't know. I THINK I get it clean then I turn around and one of my 4 potty trained lovlies christens it.
Here's a jewel: I cleaned the house the night before for my morning social worker home visit. Nancy (the SW) used the powder room before she left. I went in there later and one of the boys had had some intestinal issues in the morning in that toilet. Isn't that wonderful?
that is too too funny!!! toilet tuesday!!! hope its a happy one!!!
Hehehehe, what a fantastic post. I am sitting here dreading where to start. I have had a sick kiddo most of the week and she is doing the clinging for dear life protest to everything. Your real toilet tuesday looks very familiar to me. Love your blog!
I love the pearls!!!

I love it, you are so funny!! I have finally started making our boys clean their own toilet. If anything it should improve their aim!!!

If you keep posting pictures of yourselve in skirts cleaning toliets you might find a new career :)
I also think June had a maid!! And she drank A LOT :)
What!?!?! You wear pearls and heels when you clean too! I thought I was the only one!
Cute post...
This totally cracked me up! LOL!
I think I am going to wear my pearls when I am cleaning the toilets from now on! I'm inspired!
Love the pearls Denise! Hysterical!
Too funny!!!
This is great! Isn't there a toilet fairy out there somewhere? Whatever happened to the little Tidy-Bowl Man?
I would love to be added to your blog roll!
Thanks!
Kristin
Now that you are finished cleaning your house, can you come clean mine?
Wahaha! ROFL! Came over from SITS! Thanks for the laugh. needed it today!
This is fantastic! June really was all about the pearls, but you have her beat by scrubbing the toilet. We only saw hers get dirty in the garden.
Denise, you are hilarious!
I am laughing and laughing!!!
This is HILARIOUSLY cute!
Not just pearls and heels, but an up-do too. Or is that too keep your hair out of the toilet? ;-)
Love it!....
That is awesome!!!
Congrats on saving the world-one toilet at a time. I'm doing the same-one spray bottle at a time. Happy Green Cleaning!
That was great- thanks for the good laugh!
LOVE IT! The only cleaning that's getting done around here lately is the cleaning out of fridge - into my stomach!!!
But maybe if I had pearls....
Happy SITS day!
This is hysterical-love the expression on your face!
Too funny. Ok, here is your question of the day, Why can't boys pee IN the toilet? See...no answers. It's a mystery!
Love the outfit.
I can smell the roast cooking in your sparkling clean oven and I can see the beautiful 3 layer chocolate cake you made from scratch BEFORE the kids even got up that morning! And all that WITHOUT a frilly apron! You really are amazing!
OMG I LOVE it! HE-larious!
Needed a good laugh...thanks for providing it! Happy SITS Day!
The pearls just made me giggle right out loud. LOVE it! So funny!
So hilarious! I love "one roll of paper towels at a time." That's about right....
I was talking (okay, complaining) to my mom the other night about housework and she said, "You just need to train the kids to help. Your kids are old enough!" My little angel-monsters are 6 and 3 and are filthy little she-beasts. They are seriously the slobbiest. (My husband is pretty bad too....)
Too bad I like 'em so much or I'd be tempted to live all alone in a perfectly clean, sparking house;-)
Such a funny post!
Okay that was so funny! I noticed the pearls right away! Hmmm maybe I'll go home and clean my house tonight....NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Too funny! Have you ever thought of modeling for a Sears catalogue?
*L* loved your photos. Why can't they invent a self-cleaning toilet already?
Happy SITS Day. Love your blog. Very inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
I used to have 3 men in my house. I'm down to one now....and that one is bad enough to clean up after! he he.
Great post!!!
That is funny...I really dislike doing the boys bathroom, but I tell ya..our bathroom is worse..because everyone uses it..
I really don't know why they (my teenagers) cannot shave in their own bathroom
Seems like those boys could lend a hand. I believe in child labor, ya know...or is it teenage labor?
Thank you. You have given me the kick in the pants I needed to get those potties done today. Although I get the kids doing their share throughout the week, I still think they're too little for potties. Hopefully that changes soon.
:)
someday i will be able to hire a june cleaver to clean the toilet, im putting it out there in the universe... "june cleaver come my way! and denise's way toooooo..."
