I realize that you got off to a slow start and I admit that I wished for you to catch up to your developmental age. But a month or so ago you accomplished that goal and the slingshoted yourself through the stratosphere of milestones.
First you decided that you were too big to be sitting in a high chair, you're 18 months for goodness sakes, you should be sitting at the table like all the big kids.
But you didn't stop there.
Tricycle, shmicycle. Bring on the two wheeler. But that proved too tame for you as well.
How about learning to drive a car?
You realized that the remote control could actually make the tv do what you wanted so you could watch your favorite show.
But at least you're not a couch potato.
PS> Mommy wants to thank you and Ryan for letting her watch her LOST event uninterrupted by you both. (Julia was a different story.) I also want to apologize for ignoring you and Ryan and the blogging community as I planted myself in front of my laptop searching the internet for theories and explanations to the ever growing mysteries of LOST. I'll try my best to not ignore you next week.
The final straw was when you decided to literally start surfing the 'net on Mommy's chair but Mommy has to draw the line somewhere. By the way, I've canceled that online Advanced Calculus class you signed up for. I think you should consider preschool first.
Love,
Mommy

oh!! i'm the first one to comment here :) i'm so excited!
anywhoooo, emma is such a cutie and i'm sure she's a handful!
i'm glad you enjoyed lost. that is one tv show i've never been able to get into. don't hate me.
Emma is a TOTAL handful. But she's so cute that you can't stay mad at her long.
I, myself, cannot believe that I'm into Lost. I'm usually into fluff like Ugly Betty (which I also love). Maybe its because Lost makes me feel kinda smart. When the biggest intellectual challenge of your day is deciding between Huggies and Pampers, its kind of a welcome change.
Emma is so cute!
She is too cute to be getting in trouble!! That face would melt anyone!!
Lost was amazing!!!
I'm telling you...Emma and Anna Grace are sisters. It doesn't matter that they were born in different countries!!
I hate to tell you that age doesn't make the challenges easier. :-)
But I do love the Emma stories!! She makes me giggle!
She is so cute...I can see why you can't stay mad. The picture of her and the laptop is the best.
"Gabba Babba"! That's so cute!
big girl!
What a little sweetie! Isn't it amazing how they all of a sudden catapult into toddlerhood?
What a cute (and advanced girl)! They grow up so fast!
Since she's such a smartie pants, maybe she can explain Lost to me?
OMGosh! This was so cute! What a sweetie!
She is adorable - I have one, too, although she hasn't walked down our street (too busy; I dream of having a house on a cul-de-sac, but that's another story), but she does do some major mall walking! Love your family!
I'm still scratching my head over the Lost premier. Who was that lady at the end? =)
I could tell the FIRST time I laid eyes on a photo of your Emma that she most certainly had these extraordinary talents! Her brilliance AND her good looks...will insure that she will
RULE THE WORLD!!!!
Insert maniacal laugh >HERE!
She is SERIOUSLY cuter every single day!!
Denise, she is a adorable!!! I miss toddlers!
Emma is seriously cute. Not just "hey lady, your baby is cute" cute but "hey lady, can I put your baby on the front of a magazine" cute. And I know you can't wait until she becomes a preteen! That's going to be fun, fun, fun. You are going to have some awesome blog material then.
GAH! she's so freaking cute!
