First I am going to give you a background on myself. Right now I am in sixth grade and I am 11 years old! I went to go with my mom to get Jenna and Ryan , but not to get Emma in Vietnam. I didn't go because it was in the middle of the school year and some big projects were coming up so I didn't want to miss that. So I stayed with my friend Anna and her family it was extremely fun. It was kind of like a sleepover that never ended well until my mom got back which wasn't until seven weeks later. I do want to become an actress because everyone says I am a drama queen. Sometimes in a bad way but I take it as a compliment. You have already seen me act that way by having a fit about the boys putting all that stuff in my bathroom!
Speaking of bathrooms lets go see what my mom is up to , but you can't tell her I will be taking some pictures without her knowing. Well sooner or later she is going to find out because she ALWAYS reads her blog and has to check my post anyway just in case I didn't put anything on here that was bad like I would do that! ME JULIA SWANK DO THAT?
Now we can get on to the sneaking around and taking pictures of my mom a.k.a "My Lostie"
All right.I got up stairs that was my first step, but I have a road block! Apparently Ross had put the market in front of mom's door, but I can slip through small spaces YES! step 2 completed. Next was step 3 I had to get open the door and take a picture.
Yes! step 3 completed! I had taken a picture of my mom without her noticing. Wow she was glued look how open the door is when I took the picture that is scary!!
What's step 4 you ask? Getting all of this posted tonight and get my homework done so I don't get and academic slip (a piece of paper that you get if you don't have material that you need for that class) I am a strait A student and only have 2 academic slips. Hey that's pretty good! Well I am off to do more homework thanks for reading and hopefully my mom will let me post again bye!!!!

Hey Jewelz,
Thanks for taking a peek at your mom. Have the younger siblings gone looking for her yet? I hope the well-placed market in front of the door throws them off. Good luck on your homework...hopefully it's nothing too tough since you are probably helping out with Emma and Ryan too.
Have a great night! (And see if you can hijack your mom's blog for another post sometime!)
Oh, this is to funny!! Boy your mom sure gets LOST into that show! Hopefully she won't be FOUND by the littlest ones in your family. Keep up the great job in school! I'm sure you make your mom proud!
the little kids did start wandering around upstairs but we got them just in time emma was crying so i had to take her into my bed were she spilled all her milk on me and my bed!!!!! AHHHHH!!!! I will try to hijack soon!
that is so funny! i think you should be a spy, not an actress :)
Okay, okay,I DID notice her after she took the picture but it was at a really good part! You have to pay attention every minute with Lost and I didn't want to miss something!
I'm DIEING to talk to someone about tonight's episodes!!!
I DVR'd the episode so I could fast forward through commericals and haven't watched them just yet.
Julia, great post!
Julia,
Your momma is so zoned into the TV! That takes some skill actually, I would get distracted if someone tried to come into my room. Good idea of your brother to try and place a roadblock to keep people from getting in her room!
You remind me of myself a few years ago! I was a really good student too (okay I still sort of am) and I also wanted to be an actress when I was in the 6th grade. That was my biggest dream and I regret not pursuing it, so go for it! Just remember us when you get famous.
Oh and you're cracking me up with the academic slips. My school had something similar to that called, "pink slips" and I think that I only got 3 my entire 7th and 8th grade year. It's good to know that theres someone else out there who does't get that many either lol. Great post!
Nice job Julia!! I think you could have a future in journalism.
I love it! Great post, Julia!
Oh Julia how I miss thee... Let me count the ways... So good to "see" you on here. Thank you for making China so memorable :) XOXO
wow you're a funny kid!!! great post!!! i loved the pic of your mom watching lost.... and no, i dont get the show, either... sigh.
Hi Jewelz,
You remind me of my Amanda. She is in the 8th grade and a 'good girl', too. She is also sneaky....maybe you two should meet. Then again, we Moms may not be able to handle it!
I watched LOST and now I am even MORE LOST...I think that is the point of the show..feeling "lost"!

Julia, I think you should take over the blog more often! We've had so much fun spying on your mom (who most of us don't even know)! Those super sleuthing skills of yours will come in very handy one day.
Nice to finally "meet" you, Julia! Cute post and I hope you can come by and post again sometime!
Jewelz - You did great. It really was so nice of you to keep the little ones away so mom could be into "her" LOST. And a straight A student - WOW! keep up the great work.
And talk mom into letting you do more posting, its great seeing young people getting into this "addiction". SHHHH don't tell mom I said that - explain how it keeps your writing skills sharp!
Great job Jewelz... is that a Starbucks cup I spy in your Mom's hand??!
Julia, Fabulous post!
Denise, Starbucks and Lost...were you floating on a cloud or what? Enjoy!
it actually was a Starbucks cup in her hand ha ha ha thank you guys i had so much fun doing this post!!!
Girl your momma is going to KILL YOU!!
