Piano Practice

Mom, I have to practice the piano!!!

Emma has begun to climb from the little wall behind the piano bench up to the bench and just starts playing. Maybe she's my little Mozart.

PS> On Friday I'm going to announce the prizes for Six Days of Christmas! I finished shopping for it today and I'm so excited!!!

Woah. How smart is she?! I was cringing for a minute when she was pushing the lid up, but Emma knew just what to do. Heck she plays better than me!

And I love your comment to Stevie - it was so funny!

I kept finding her on the piano bench and accusing the kids of putting her up there, especially Ryan who is often her cohort in crime. And of course, Ryan doesn't deny it yet because his vocabulary isn't that extended.

But after the ornament discovery I decided to just observe her and sure enough not only does she climb up there but she opens the lid too! The first few times she freaked me out opening it but then I realized she had it under control. The real problem is when both Ryan and Emma are up there and one of them decided to close it-- on the other one's fingers. Not good.

Brandy-- it was all true!

Janne' is my SIL and is Julia and Jenna's piano teacher. They love her!!!

I was somewhat surprised to see her name because she doesn't blog and to the best of my knowledge didn't have a Google account or profile BUT she did shop with me for some of the Six Days of Christmas gifts and was very excited to hear that she is eligible to win too. So she must have set it up in anticipation of commenting!!!

Yes people, the prizes are THAT great!

I am glad to hear that I was not the only one cringing when Emma lifted the lid. :-)

Hmm. You'd better keep your eye on this one. She could give you a run for your money. Already trying to snatch down ornaments, climb on the piano bench....
