The Third Day of Christmas

On the Third Day of Christmas, Denise gave to me:


Two books and some Dove chocolate!

The Friday Night Knitting Club in paperback; it's just released sequel-- Knit Two, in hardback; and 2 Dove Chocolate bars, one dark chocolate and one milk chocolate. The chocolate is for when you're lounging around reading you can be completely decadent. I always wanted to be decadent so you can tell me what it's like.

I loved The Friday Night Knitting Club, and as anxious as I am to read the unexpected sequel (to me anyway) I have left it pristine for it's new owner!

    I drink Koolaid lots of it! Well, actually my mom never let me as a kid and my tastebuds never developed a love for koolaid. But just go with it! Love your blog!

    I'm so happy everyone seems to be having fun letting me know their drink of choice! I could really go for a Starbucks nonfat, no whip Mocha but its a SNOW DAY here today, so I think I'll be drinking my homemade mochas.

    Janelle, its too cold to go outside today and the snow is so light and powdery they couldn't make a snowman or snowballs anyway. The main thing I get out of snow days is a a chance to sleep in but I got up EARLIER because of the phone call!!!

    Chocolate and books - ok I'm definitely in.

    And looks like my daughter Jenn and I could "share" both - even being dyslexic she is a great reader when she stays focused. So anything that we can both read and share is great. And who doesn't like chocolate??

    I'm in. Though I have to say your koolaid tastes a little weird. Did you add something to it? (Sorry that was a bit morbid.)
    Anyway, I'll make you a little deal but let's keep it just between us. If you pick me (oh please pick me) you can send me the first book but keep the second to read yourself.     Joan, you bring up an EXCELLENT point! My kids are really lovin' Kool-aAid right now although I hardly make it. For one thing its chock full of sugar (like I need more hyperactivity in this house, I'm hyper enough) and second it STAINS!

    So last night my kids were begging for me to make them some Kool-Aid and I kept putting it off thinking they would give up and forget. All the while I was thinking "What IDIOT decided to put all that Red Dye #40 in Kool-Aid?" It was obviously some man who never does laundry, nor cleans up after kids.

    I better be careful. Kool-Aid might start stalking me next. Santa's already joined the Stalk Denise crew.
